Job Purpose
Develop and implement HR strategy, and organize activities to ensure the HR function can support the achievement of business goals and contribute to nurturing an inclusive culture. The role provides professional advice and support to managers and employees on all aspects of human resource management within the relevant countries, including but not limited to Singapore, Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand. This role will be supported by direct reports in Singapore, Indonesia and Australia.
Scope & Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the leadership teams and develop a solid understanding of the strategic goals of the teams and from that provide strategic business partnership & coaching to managers and leaders
  • Drive the full spectrum of HR activities such as:HR operation such as promotions, relocations, payroll, terminationsCompensation and benefits administrationPerformance management, including the annual merit review processEmployee relations Talent management
  • Lead and/or participate in HR projects including reorganizations, process improvements, implementation of new policies/systems, mergers and acquisitions
  • Ensure accurate HR and payroll data is maintained in the relevant HR systems
  • Develop and implement various local HR policies as needed
  • Perform other duties as deemed appropriate and assigned by management.

  • Education:
  • Bachelor degree in Business or Human Resources Management

  • Experiences and attributes:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in human resources with at least 3 years in an international company with regional exposure
  • Prior experience in using SuccessFactors would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of employment law and HR practices in the region
  • Good interpersonal, influencing and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with ease
  • Strong sense of integrity and responsibility
  • Proficient in Mandarin is a plus for liaising with colleagues in China
