Roles & Responsibilities

The Sunrise Group is one of the largest wholesalers and distributors of branded sports goods in Asia, with headquarters in Singapore and offices in 15 countries across Asia. We represent world renowned sporting brands such as Yonex and Mikasa.

We are looking for a HR Professional to join us at companys head quarters in Singapore. He/She will be responsible for managing HR function in Singapore and work with HR functionaries in our regional offices to ensure smooth human resource operations at all centres.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Partner with local country management leaders to establish HR strategic and tactical framework and plans to align with regional, and local commercial priorities.

Ensure best practices in HR , relevant to business needs and assist the management team on HR issues such as talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations and engagement, fair consideration , manpower reporting and analysis, and budgeting.

Work with regional offices on manpower planning .

Handle payroll and personnel administration.

Handle recruitment process including selection and vetting of candidates with business teams.

Develop and improve HR policies and procedures for implementation across offices.

Provide support and ensure that HR practices (processes and controls) are aligned with requirements.

Keep abreast of local and regional statutory regulations and industry initiatives .

Work on Skill development of staff through relevant training & development Initiatives.

REQUIREMENTS

Graduate or post graduate degree with a specialization in Human Resources Management or a relevant field.

5-7 years of full spectrum HR experience including a track record in dealing with management for at least 2-3 years.

Candidates with HR exposure of 3-4 years may also apply and may be considered for Senior HR Executive role.

Good communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a client-oriented mindset.

Be prepared to be operationally hands-on where necessary.

Able to prioritize, organize and execute multiple tasks with competing deadlines.

Resourceful, meticulous, and a team player who can work well with all levels.

Hands-on experience with payroll systems and Human Resources Management Software ie Infotech.

Possess a high level of integrity and discretion.

Self-driven personality and a team player.
