Job Description

Our Client, 19 years ago started from providing Ground, Pest Control, Janitorial service and Waste Management and over the years, they branched out to Facilities Maintenance (Housing, Unaccompanied Housing and Industrial), Design & Build Services and Environmental Services into building maintenance. As the company have secured a few major project, they are looking for an experience HR Manager who have working experience in Construction sector.

Position: HR Manager

Salary : SGD5,000 to SGD7,000

Work Location: Woodland

Working Hours: Monday to Friday

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

  • Be forward-looking, plan, review and monitor all HR policies and processes. Ensure that all HR processes, policies and procedures of the Company adhere to Employment Act and other government legislation.
  • Attract, motivate and retain talents for the company.
  • Lead, coach and inspire HR team to provide optimal operational support to the human resource activities, aligned with the various legislations and authorities' guidelines.
  • Communicate HR policy to all levels of employees.
  • Oversee Employees' Relations. Provide advice and assistance to employees in HR-related matters, employee counseling and grievances handling. Handle employees' suggestions and feedback.
  • Support management and HQ by providing human resources advice, counsel, survey, data analysis and reports.
  • Handle the full spectrum of HR functions including managing the projects HR teams, Recruitment, Training
  • Initiate and organise company events, employee engagement activities.

Job Requirements

  • A degree from a recognized university, preferably in a human resource or Business Administration related field.
  • At least 8 to 10 years of experience in managing multi-disciplinary HR teams. Experience with Construction Preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience in the construction industry are a must. Good understanding of MOM/BCA manpower policies for the construction industry. Understanding of construction manpower demands.
  • Involved in Recruitment & Manpower planning / Insurance / Training and budget / Development Program / Performance Appraisal / Policies and Procedures / Man-year / Payroll & IRAS
  • Strong and proven HR leadership with effective interpersonal communication and influencing skills to deal with management and employees at all levels.
  • Possesses deep expertise in recruiting, compensation and benefits design, HR policy and process design and implementation
  • Excellent team management skills.
  • Has the ability to multi-task and complete tasks within deadlines. A pro-active and a "Can Do" attitude would be critical.
  • Able to handle different working cultures.
  • Must be comfortable working in Woodland.


Company car, Medical, Annual Leave provided.
