Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose

  • Manage a team to deliver timely & quality services and solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Jointly resolve people issues with partners, upholding clear line of communication, integrity, confidentiality, impartiality and professionalism at all times.
  • Be a key member of the HR team
  • Principal Accountabilities

  • Supervise day-to-day HR operations in areas like work passes application/cancellation, travel arrangements and other HR related matters.
  • Supervise dormitory management in partnership with line manager and vendors in areas like workers occupancy rate, in alignment with monthly manpower plan and budget.
  • Manage direct workers welfare to improve on the existing practices.
  • Develop, review, and improve on administrative systems, policies, and procedures as part of continuous improvement
  • Maintain the HRIS for all staff movement and any other information relating to foreign pass holders
  • Partner and coach line managers in key HR processes to continuously improve HR practices/processes.
  • Build and foster a culture of employee engagement to reinforce the organizations culture for continuous growth and improvement.
  • Education

  • Min. Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management / Business Administration.
  • Experience

  • At least 5 years relevant experience.
  • Some knowledge of Singapore Labour Law in relations to work passes application and the related processes.
  • Good knowledge of HRIS. Hands on experience with TIMESOFT will be an added advantage
  • Dormitory management for foreign workers
  • Other Essential Attributes

  • Experience in managing foreign workers
  • Strong leadership skills
  • A team player and is able to work closely with line managers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely to people of all levels.
