  • Adecco is partnering an engineering firm and they are currently looking for a HR Assistant Manager (Business Partner) to join their team! Reporting to the HR Manager from the parent company, this is a sole contributor role where the incumbent will be mainly developing policies and procedures for the firm, and to support in the full spectrum of recruitment process in hiring for mainly blue collar workers.

    Responsibilities:

  • Handle full HR spectrum for one of the subsidiary company
  • Work with Corporate HR in deploying and implementing Group HR policies, including customization
  • Develop HR plan with heads of business units for immediate and long term requirements
  • Drive recruitment for all positions within the subsidiary
  • Develop and implement training plan
  • Keep abreast of employment laws and ensure compliance with employment legislation
  • Manage foreign workers matter which include work passes, accommodation/transport
  • Handle employees' relations matters including disciplinary issues, grievances, absenteeism and other employee disputes
  • Assist in the full spectrum of recruitment for the firm
  • Oversee the full spectrum of employees' lift cycles from on boarding to off boarding, including confirmation, contract renewals and re-employment
  • Drive HR initiative regarding Covid-19 matters
  • Support employees' wellness programme
  • Oversee all other HR administrative work including compensation & benefits administration, work injury compensation & training administration
  • Prepare HR related reports required by internal stakeholders
  • Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/ Administration/ Management or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of similar working experience in a mid to large-size organization with a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in handling relationship with Union would be an advantage
  • Senior Executives specializing in Human Resources or equivalent are welcome to apply.
  • Meticulous in details and a team player.
  • Possesses strong collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
