Amazon is looking for an analytical, inventive, and proven HR Analytics Program Manager to expand APJ Commercial Ops (APJ CO) reporting for critical people programs as well as design solutions to deliver on new reporting capabilities to optimize existing operational workflows. In this role you will work closely with HR teams across APJ region, building on your strong analytical skills to support the team with regular production of metrics and analytics that are meaningful and scalable. You will provide leadership to ensure that our metrics and analytics are produced and are aligned to the strategic goals of the organization. You will have some Program Management responsibilities and are expected to independently assess and manage program execution, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks and provide escalation if and when required.
Successful candidates will have experience in large corporate environments, very strong analytical capabilities and the ability to influence with data-driven recommendations, and excellent problem-solving abilities. They will have the right mix of business and industry acumen to drive reporting requirements, governance, program management and solutions. They will need strong skills in design and development of reporting and analytics solutions. To do this, they will partner with the customer leads, program owners, and other analysts to examine and rationalize business needs, define standards and practices for processes, and deliver new reporting capabilities that align with global recruiting programs

Key job responsibilities
Develop and maintain headcount, attrition and other reporting for leaders in the APJ CO organization
Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analysis
Build a data pipeline to enable data integration from disparate large data sources. Drive collection of new data, and refinement of existing data sources
Write narratives and business justification of reports and analysis to influence stakeholders and drive decisions
Work closely with program managers to connect with global stakeholders to identify KPIs, metrics, and business insights needs
Maintain and streamline the data flow to improve accuracy and optimization
Perform data analysis to generate deep actionable insights for business questions
BA/BS degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science or Mathematics Undergraduate degree in statistics, business, finance, engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of professional experience with a heavy emphasis on data and analytics, preferably in HR or recruiting
Analytic skills and a demonstrated ability to build and manage reporting tools for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem solving.
