Client Details

Our client is a Hong Kong headquartered financial services institution with a strong presence in China. Due to expansion, they now seek a seasoned HR Generalist expert to join their HK office as Group Head of HR to support their company growth and key projects.

Description

Based in Hong Kong, this position will provide leadership, planning and direction to the HR function in the Greater China region in line with business objectives. Supported by HR professionals in Hong Kong and China, a diverse range of HR activities will be covered by this role with key responsibilities including recruitment, talent retention, compensation and benefits, training and development as well as performance management. Specifically, you will review and integrate existing HR policies as well as develop and implement new initiatives.

Profile

Degree qualified, you will have a minimum of 15-20 years generalist experience leading sizable HR teams of over 20 , with a regional managerial exposure within renowned multinational financial services organisations. A background within the Greater China region is essential, as in a strong understanding of labour laws and the employment market in Hong Kong and China. Candidates who have experience acting as a remuneration committee member or experience preparing such presentations will be highly sought after. Driven, enthusiastic and with a strong passion to succeed, you will have excellent communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
