Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions
  • Plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organizations mission and talent strategy.
  • Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Implement talent management, succession planning and work with the management on strategies to build a high-performance culture
  • Lead talent review and succession planning processes and implement initiatives to close the gaps
  • Keep an eye on employee relations. Provide HR-related advice and help to employees, as well as employee counselling and grievance resolution. Handle recommendations and feedback from staff.
  • Manage the project HR teams as well as the entire range of HR services.
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations pertaining to human resources aspects of compliances i.e. policies & procedures, mandatory benefits, compensation, health & safety etc - recommend and implement such requirements into practice.
  • Job Requirements

  • A degree in human resources or Business Administration related field would be preferred
  • At least 8 years of relevant working experience, preferably working in the construction industry
  • Experienced in Talent Management and Succession Planning is a must
  • Good understanding of MOM/BCA manpower policies for the construction industry. Understanding of construction project manpower demands and challenges.
  • Proven HR leadership with strong interpersonal communication and influencing abilities to work with all levels of management and employees.
  • Excellent team management abilities
  • Deep expertise in recruiting, salary and benefits design, HR policy and process design and implementation
  • Able to work in a faced paced environment.
