Our Risk Assurance Practice provides an invaluable safeguard in todays complex operating environment with insights and independent assurance. We work with clients to deliver business control to help them to protect and strengthen every aspect of their business from people to performance, systems to strategy, business plans to business resilience. We help clients manage, mitigate and control risks from potential cybersecurity breaches to possible breaks in the supply chain. We assess and prepare businesses by looking into their technology, finance, data analytics, regulatory requirements, data security and privacy, internal audit, and the third parties our clients rely on, to help clients deliver quality results and meet their strategic objectives.
The overall objective of this role is to understand ESG talent acquisition needs at the regional and territory level (Asia Pacific), to develop strategies to address these needs in a timely fashion, to develop strong working relationships with the existing PwC talent acquisition teams and, as necessary, develop & lead a small focused ESG recruitment team. Develop regional talent acquisition strategy for the ESG Function incorporating regional and territory level imperatives for rapid growth Understand region wide ESG hiring and directly support/influence this with ESG leadership at the regional level such that we remain focused on building and strengthening our ESG capacity and capabilities in line with our regional & territory level aspirations Ensure that we meet agreed hiring goals with quality individuals/teams Develop consistent hiring methodologies & practices which are reproducible and understood across the region at the regional and territory levels tied back to PwC process and requirements Regional Virtual Centre of Excellence (VCoE)/ESG Institute leadership Understand the regional ESG hiring strategy & work with VCoE to target Subject Matter Expert (SME) & potentially associated team hires Understand the regional ESG hiring strategy & work with ESG Institute to target functional support hiring needs Territory ESG hire support/leadership Work with identified territory level ESG leads to quantify annual hiring needs and develop territory level strategies integrated into Regional focus Develop strong working relationships with existing territory level talent acquisition teams to ensure clear and effective responsibilities are understood and enacted Support (develop strategies to ensure) effective integration of new ESG hires into their roles & local territory As appropriate (& agreed) take a leadership role at the territory level to develop an ESG hiring strategy/integration program Focus should be on development of a dynamic, flexible ESG Talent Acquisition team to identify and rapidly hire and onboard: ESG leadership (Director & Partner level) ESG team members (up to Senior Manager level) As agreed with regional and/or territory leadership, support targeting of group & team hires and integration/onboarding As necessary develop a small focused regional level ESG Talent Acquisition team to support both regional and territory level team build-outs Reporting to VCoE lead.
