Job Description

Major Dutiesand Responsibilities:

  • Report to Chief Executive
  • Provide leadership to the Education and Development team to ensure quality and consistent implementation of training initiatives
  • Oversee the quality assurance for all deliverables and measure learning effectiveness
  • Drive the business development and build a profitable training business
  • Provide learning consultancy services to corporate clients
  • Build and sustain relationships with Education & Development Committee members, business partners and subject matter experts to ensure learning solutions are in line with the identified learning needs/gaps of the financial services industry sector
  • Deliver training where required

Required Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications:

Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

  • Proven strong leadership, business planning skills, project management, analytic, organisational and problem solving skills
  • Ability to think strategically and anticipate future trends, needs and expectations
  • Strong team and relationship building skills with proven record in building and sustaining relationships with key decision makers
  • Ability to present and communicate effectively and persuasively with individuals, small and large audiences as well as executive level
  • Ability to measure results, analyse data, develop and present data driven reports and provide solutions for continuous improvement
  • Good understanding of the financial services and securities related regulatory requirements
  • Ability to lead the design function; plan budget; lead team to manage and execute strategy


  • At least Bachelors degree in Human Resources Management, Organisational Development, Instructional Design, Instructional Technology or related field or equivalent experience

Related Work Experience

  • At least 5 years of senior management experience in client consulting role, business development and/or learning and development in a corporate/business setting/ membership organisation
  • Have proven experience in learning and development, preferably has experience in managing the design and development of learning solutions using a blended approach, including: instructor-led, e-learn, self-paced, on-the-job training tools, and other methodologies as appropriate
