This position reports to the Chief HR Officer (CHRO) and is responsible for the effective and efficient running of the human resource (HR) function. The incumbent drives the culture of the organisation by championing organisational values and cultivating the desired culture of the organisation with other senior business leaders and stakeholders and has a sound understanding of the external environment impacting the organisation and provides strategic foresight and HR insights to offer innovative solutions in solving organisational issues.
Drive HR Business Partnering (Admin and Ancillary)

  • Partner with members of the executive suite to position the HR function as a key business enabler to achieving organisational goals.
  • Oversee the design and delivery of HR strategy and initiatives and ensure alignment of the HR imperatives to the organisations strategic goals and business imperatives.
  • Advocate the people agenda in all matters to cultivate a culture where employees in the organisation are valued and engaged.
  • Align HR strategies and plans to WH's current and future business strategy in consultation with senior management.
  • Advise WH leaders on implications of current and future workforce supply and demand.
  • Advise hiring managers on ways to address manpower shortfalls or surpluses.
  • Secure buy-in from senior management to redesign organisation structure to deliver its vision, mission, strategy and plans in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Engage WH leaders to establish business imperatives for organisational development or change management initiatives.

  • Engagement, Wellness & WellCARE
  • Lead and manage staff well-being and related matters
  • Develop strategies aimed to enhance workplace health and staff well-being and engagement aligned to organisations vision, mission, values and direction
  • Conceptualize, design, implement, evaluate, review and continuously enhance staff engagement and well-being interventions and activities
  • Oversee the development of strategies and maintenance of WellCARE programme initiatives
  • Engagement with family groups and microunits within WHC in the interests of outreach, communication and buy-in for WellCARE projects

  • HRIS
  • Sound understanding of HRIS based project
  • Suggest, propose and implement any HRIS systems that will enhance and improve the functions and systems of the HR department
  • Work closely with IT team and vendor on HRIS based project
  • Support SAP application and administration of HR applications and resolve system related issues
  • Propose and implement continual improvement of HRIS systems and processes for key stakeholders using the system
  • Facilitate end-to-end project
  • Main co-ordinator for audit checks by internal and external auditors

  • HR Operations
  • Work closely with the wider HR functions as well as across the organization to understand business needs, identify solutions and opportunities for improvement of HR processes by designing and delivering initiatives and undertake project and change management activities to create overall efficiencies and positive change to the business.
  • Take a hands-on approach and partner with the line management and HR leadership to implement a strategic roadmap to improve HR processes and programs
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across all functions to maintain and develop processes and integrations that brings overall organizational efficiencies
  • Drive the transformation of employee and manager experience and develop operational efficiencies through simplification and automation
  • Optimize and leverage HR technology systems to meet workflow requirements creating opportunities for robotic automation, reduction of manual processes and simplified process that help drive accuracy and completeness.
  • Review operation processes and procedures to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies
  • Lead, coach and inspire team to deliver quality and timely HR services
