Job Description



Develop and implement adidas Japan Own Retail integrated HR programs and systems to support own retail business growth and enable a best in class organization with long term success of the business.Key Responsibilities: Propose HR strategy for aJapan Own Retail to sustain current business and support further growth. < Support roll out of new store formats in Japan < Act as the trusted business partner for Japan Own Retail team in HR issues/initiatives, provide HR solution/service base on the business needs, including but not limited to HC planning, team structure, performance evaluation, talent identification, merit increase etc., and assist line managers to monitoring/improving employees' performance & morale, etc. to build up short term and long-term talent pipeline< Provide HR advise, expertise and consulting to Retail VP and Retail management team on their vision, strategies and requirements, including business transformation, organization planning & development, change management, talent planning, etc. and make the most appropriate tool or resource available to meet the business needs< < < Optimize recruitment channels, establish new recruitment platforms, and enhance recruitment efficiency to support growth of business in alignment with local and regional Talent Acquisition Team.< Adapt and implement performance management system to drive performance culture in the retail stores< Work closely with Rewards team to design proper remuneration systems for own retail which includes but not limited to salary structure, commission scheme, benefits program and recognition program< Work with Retail Training Team to map out development roadmap and conduct regular promotion cycle and build talent pipeline for upcoming new store expansion Advise the retail managers (district manager/store manager) on how to motivate, coach and manage the retail staff Drive key retail HR projects/initiatives which are in support of furthering the business goals and strengthening functional capability< Implement and execute consistently key HR core processes< Drive PEX and FTE/HC planning process and compensation scheme from an HR perspective< Ensure local legislation (health & safety and others) are will be followed< Supervise and provide job coaching for subordinates< Set performance plan with direct reports; review and evaluate performance< < < Key Relationships: < < < Own Retail organization< HR functions < FP&A< External consultants< Vendors<
