ER and HR Policies job for a Global Financial Institution to run all ER and HR Policies initiatives
Your new company
We are partnering with a Global Financial Institution and they are currently going through some exciting changes. With this they are looking for a Director, Employee Relations and HR Policies to join their dynamic team.
Your new role
This position reports into the Global Head of ER and HR Policies. You will be responsible for Employee Relations, as well as HR Policies & Governance areas coordinating closely with Asia countries and Global counterparts. You will also provide oversight and direction on country ER investigations and programmes, conduct high level investigations, provide core training to country teams on investigation methodology and documentation to drive consistency and minimize risk. As a specialist, you will also identify, develop, implement ER programmes and best practice solutions, provide solutions on complex ER issues and manage and resolve ER inquiries and investigations. As a HR Policies and Governance expert as well, you will provide support to Asia HR teams to ensure smooth implementation of new HR initiatives, assist in developing HR policies, review standard and non-standard employment agreements and coordinate HR Business Continuity Planning.
What you'll need to succeed
To be qualified for this position, you need to possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • Over 15 years of practical experience in managing ER, employment contracts, HR policies, designing HR compliance and risk framework, as well as HR internal controls
  • Extensive knowledge in Asia HR-related laws, especially well versed in employment laws, data privacy laws, and equal opportunities laws
  • Knowledge in legal language, and capable of understanding and interpreting HR related laws for management decision
  • Good facilitation and influencing skills as well as excellent communication skills
