Job Description

The role will cover a broad range of HR activities in support of the Group HR team with primary focus on talent acquisition and employee relations. The role will also be required to provide support in HR Due Diligence, Talent Management, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits as well as providing advice on HR best practices etc where necessary.

There is potential for conversion to permanent hire if he/she performs well.


  • Explore and recommend various modes of recruitment search, such as using employee referrals, employment agencies and job placement advertisements etc.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from sourcing, screening, shortlisting, to negotiation and offer management.
  • As an ambassador of PSA, provide excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment and selection process.
  • Keep abreast of the market trends consistently
  • Support in all logistics for on-boarding and off-boarding of Group employees.
  • Co-ordinate the admin briefing and induction of new hires.
  • Participate in the campus recruitment and engagement efforts and activities with Institute of Higher Learning
  • Participate in the Global Recruitment Best Practices workshops and co-ordinate logistics for Recruitment workshops when necessary.
  • Provide support to Talent Management initiatives whenever required.
  • Implementing conceptual ideas and execute designs for HR communications material relating to Employee events.
  • Organise and handle logistics for visits as requested by existing/potential partners / Unions, if necessary.
  • Handle presentations to visitors (from overseas ports, employer/worker unions, etc); draft program, if necessary
  • Explore on Digital HR and provide recommendations on areas to digitalization or robotic process automation.
  • Assist in job redesign when required.
  • Assist in all general HR and administrative functions as and when assigned.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or Post Graduate Diploma in HR Management or IT
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in an HR generalist role especially in recruitment in large corporate organizations from junior to senior management positions.Experience working in a global corporate/subsidiary work environment preferred
  • With competency in Photoshop, MS Office (Word, Excel & Powerpoint)
  • Strong analytical skill, numeric inclined and meticulous
  • Confident and mature
  • Able to multi-task, work independently and exercise initiative with strong interpersonal skills
  • Good organisational and excellent communication and writing skills
  • Team player with a flexible and creative outlook
