In order to support our team and strengthen the growth of our business in Singapore, Mercer is seeking candidates for the following position based in the Singapore office:

Compensation Surveys, Relationship Manager- HR Consulting

What can you expect?

  • The successful candidate will work with the consumer goods industry clients within the APAC region managing client relationships by way of interactions through Zoom calls and client meetings face to face as and when required and be the client point of contact for all clarifications and queries.
  • Providing analytical support on compensation & benefits and sharing industry level insights and trends.
  • Be responsible in heading multiple client queries, operational queries and educating client on data from a compensation perspective.
  • Liaise with the clients on running custom polls & surveys, defining the structure, work with internal parties to help the survey go live, review results outcome, and ensure timely report delivery to the clients.
  • Active engagement in running industry specific events, defining agenda representing industry HR trends and working with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure the logistics are set up to run the event smoothly.

  • In Mercer, we work as a team. Part of the duties of the consultant is to support the lead consultant, and to ensure that key tasks as above, are performed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Be the 1st point of contact for client queries on Mercer Surveys and products. Actively liaison with internal Mercer teams to ensure effective & timely resolution to multiple client queries and issues, on a daily basis.
  • Build & maintain strong client relationships with industry clients within the region.
  • Assist senior consultant in client projects relating to compensation surveys and this includes research and leveraging Mercer propriety to pull information.
  • Keeping up to date on developments within the HR space and across companies.
  • Build a holistic understanding of Mercer offerings across Lines of Business and identify opportunities to upsell these to clients based on their requirements.
  • Attend and participate in client meetings to discuss requirements, manage relationship and often present specific areas and points of view.

What you need to have:

a)Knowledge/background

  • Bachelor degree holders with strong academic track-record in Compensation and Benefits background and experience.
  • Strong interest in analyzing compensation survey
  • Keen to build relationships with HR and Compensation and Benefits professionals externally.

b)Experience

  • 4-5 years of relevant HR experience
  • Strong background in surveys and compensation and benefits

c)Behavioural competencies

  • A steady person who is looking for a long and steady career with Mercer
  • Team player and also an individual contributor
  • Ability to communicate complex information in a simple and coherent manner.
  • Attention to detail, and project management experience.
