Job Description

Established FMCG company seeking for a proactive Assistant HR Manager to be part of the team expansion, this position will report to the HR Manager based in Singapore and will be assigned tasks across full spectrum HR activities as well as business partnering duties for assigned business units/stakeholders.

The successful candidate will also be expected to be responsible for the administration of HR policies and programs for the Company covering compensation & benefits, recruitment, learning and development, HR operations, employee relations, HSE & S&R. This position will also be supporting regional projects or driving any HR initiatives together with the HR Manager.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Compensation & Benefits, perform annual salary & benefits benchmarking exercise & surveys to ensure market relevance to maintain competitiveness & equity
  • Conduct analysis on all positions, compensation, total rewards framework & policies
  • Support in annual merit & bonus review process and recommendation; Equity/shares awards plan administration
  • Manage end-to-end payroll and tax administration process for all staff, including government claims and grants through 3rd outsourced payroll vendor
  • Manage renewal of employee benefit insurances and administration of medical benefits with the broker and third-party providers
  • Participate and support in the annual benefits renewal process
  • Participate in budgeting exercise on analysis of complex data; developing variance/assumptions; consolidate and work closely with finance to review the manpower budget
  • Talent Acquisition

  • Manage the end-to-end cycle of the contingent workforce (FTC/Temps)
  • Initiate proactive discussion with the hiring manager and recruiters on recruitment needs & plan
  • Ensure job descriptions are developed and up to date for all positions
  • Manage the end-to-end talent cycle [sourcing, screening, interviewing, job offer (proposal/extension), on and off-boarding, confirmation]
  • Prepare and manage offer negotiation and proposals in accordance with hiring principles
  • Prepare and coordinate induction plan with internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth onboarding process for all new hires/internal transferees
  • Conduct HR orientation for all new hires, internal transferees
  • Manage exit process and conduct exit interviews for all leavers for analysis purpose
  • Recruitment vendor management
  • HR Operations & Employee Relations
  • Create, update and maintain the HRIS system - WorkDay, records, and reports with accurate employee data & leave administration like the Subject Matter Expert (SME)
  • HR administration (employment certification letter, corporate card application, etc)
  • Provide assistance or support on any HR-related enquiry
  • Provide constructive advisory to line managers or employees on employee issues relating to employment, disciplinary actions, and employee relations/grievance
  • Preparation and submission of regular government survey
  • Liaison with relevant government bodies and tax consultants for HR issues
  • Administer and drive the annual employee satisfaction survey; perform post-survey analysis & workshops to establish relevant action plans
  • Implement and maintain all human resources policies & programs that align with internal control guidelines and also ensure compliance with local labour laws & statutory requirements
  • Expat/Mobility Management including relocation, work pass application/renewal, etc
  • Talent Management

  • Drive the annual performance management process for assigned business units and communications
  • Perform calibration discussion with line managers to align on performance ratings/assessment, as well as individual development plan (IDP) to build a sustainable succession plan
  • Analyse and define training needs to identify areas for development
  • Plan annual training and development plan and manage training budget
  • Maintain database of training programs, vendor database, and records
  • Drive and ensure full completion of all mandatory training modules
  • Local/regional training program coordination and logistics
  • Responsible to lead the Recreation Club Committee for the planning of activities to improve the employee engagement index
  • Sustainability & Responsibility (S&R)

  • To support the PRS S&R Action Plan
  • Drive the agenda under People & Environment Pillar
  • Timely and accurate S&R/WSH Incidents reporting to PR Asia and PR HQ;
  • Ensure all full completion of MOOCs on Responsible Drinking and Code of Commercial Communication
  • Coordination support on S&R projects
  • Reports & Others

  • To oversee and support in any HR Audits (internal/external)
  • Prepare regular HR reports and as assigned, such as Group Social Reports, Staff Movement, Turnover, HSE reporting etc
  • To drive the HSE committee and be the SME
  • Active participation in current and new Regional HR projects/initiatives
  • Draft and prepare communication emails to employees from time to time
  • Simplify ways of working to identify opportunities to harmonize, improve, and/or automate current processes and policies
  • Perform other duties and handle ad hoc projects assigned from time to time
  • Requirements:

  • Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent fields
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience (Comp & Ben; HR Operations; Change Management)
  • Strong analytical skillsets
  • Keen eye in details, number sensitive
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications and Communication
  • Competent knowledge of local labour laws
  • Good interpersonal & leadership skills with a positive mindset
  • Team player, independent, multi-tasker, and well organized
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight timelines
