Our highly respected client, which is well  established in Thailand, is seeking a high-profile executive for the job of AVP, Learning and Development Manager. The job is based in Bangkok,  Thailand. 

Job Summary

The AVP, Learning and Development Manager will oversee Learning and  Development Operations and play a central role in implementing our  client’s Central Learning and Development Programme (Academy) as well as
providing key support to management in facilitating change and engaging associates to new processes. As the winning candidate will interact at  all levels, the successful applicant will need strong communication  skills plus the ability to influence and convey complex issues into  simple learning solutions.

Job Responsibilities

•      Partner with Management, Line Manager and Trainers to ensure all  trainings under the learning roadmap is delivered within the set  timescales.
•      Follow up the feedback and evaluation after training and suppose on report.
•      Implement and operate the Learning Management System (including on-line learning and report generating)
•      Monitor and advise the team to submit the report to the related  government agencies (e.g. the Department of Skills Development)  correctly and on time
•      Support design and evaluate training materials to improve learning experiences.
•      Track and analyse test results, audits and performance against metrics.

Job Requirements

•      At least 5 years’ experience in In house Learning Operation 
•      Experience in carrying out all activities in the Training Cycle: Design, Delivery, Evaluation
•      Bachelors' degree or Masters’ degree 
•      Good verbal and written communication skills, in both Thai and English
•      Experience in using computer to develop materials, presentations and use of email and knowledge of internet/intranet.
•      Excellence in using Microsoft Excel and Learning Management System in handling a volume of reports and analysis
•      Experience in submission of the Department of Skills Development report 
•      Highly organized and have good analytical skills
