Roles & Responsibilities

The Associate Director, Human Resources provides an exciting opportunity to deliver ambitious people plans, manage a geographically dispersed team, support leadership and employees across the APAC region, and help us deliver a truly global employee experience. This is a varied role as you will play an active part in shaping the direction and growth of the company, whilst also managing the day-to-day requirements of the APAC region, in close collaboration with global HR Business Partners.

You will role model HR best practice; establish credibility and trust with stakeholders at all levels; support innovation through advising, informing, challenging, and facilitating discussions with leaders in equal measure on a wide range of issues all in the context of a rapidly evolving business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement global HR strategy across the region
  • Develop regional People Plan which is aligned to the business priorities
  • Act as focal point for complex and varied employee relations across the APAC region, including sourcing external legal advice where appropriate
  • Oversee the annual talent and reward cycle within the APAC region, ensuring that performance calibration and salary and bonus processes are applied consistently
  • Maintain and update local HR policies to ensure they are reflective of legal compliance and market trends/best practice
  • Day-to-day support and partnering with senior leaders in the APAC region
  • Ensure HR support for over 70 employees in the APAC region (located in Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, China, Japan, India and South Korea)
  • Lead and implement people-related change projects that affect the APAC region
  • Contributing to the streamlining and simplification of processes, look for opportunities to improve the HR function
  • Regular communication with HRBPs to ensure they are kept abreast of local developments
  • Qualifications

    Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Masters degree in Human Resources with minimum 8 years of experience of working in a hi-tech product company.
  • Experience and ability to lead on and implement the HR strategy for the APAC region
  • Strong employee relations knowledge and demonstrated experience of working across the APAC region (Australia, Singapore, Japan and India essential)
  • Experience of working on SAP SuccessFactors
  • Experience of working on performance management tool of PeopleFluent / Reflektive
  • Natural collaborator, excellent verbal communicator
  • Comfortable with remote working relationships
  • Ability to focus on longer term while also ensuring that all tactical issues are resolved
  • Ability to streamline and simplify processes
  • Experience of leading, coaching and developing a team
  • Influencing and negotiating skills, excellent stakeholder management
  • Able to travel across the region as required by the business
  • Excellent spoken and written English
