The Associate Director, Human Resource Development will work closely with HR Director and the senior leaders in the development and exposure of the staff in the area of organization development, focus on the improvement of the performance of people working in the Foundation and help develop the skills, knowledge and competency of employees.

Temasek Foundation is seeking suitable candidates to do the following:

Organisation Development

  • Analyze foundation structures, procedures, processes, and the utilization of resources
  • Design and implement a variety of developmental initiatives, action plans, programs, and intervention actions to achieve a high performing organization
  • Work with teams across the foundation, to support a programme of continuous organizational performance improvement
  • Management of change in support of the organizations strategic and operational plans, providing information, advice and services as required
  • Contribute to the restructuring or reorganizing of the foundation to increase efficiency and align activities with business objectives
  • Optimize personnel utilization by increasing cross-functionality and interdepartmental cooperation
  • Measure the impact of interventions on staff performance, efficiency, employee retention, and job satisfaction
  • Advise senior leaders and recommending efficient and cost-effective solutions for identified challenges
  • Leaning and Training Development

  • Develope the competencies framework, learning plan, individual training needs analysis and individual training roadmap for all staff
  • Responsible for coming up with training solutions that fit the foundations development needs
  • Organize and co-ordinate learning, sharing and networking events among Temasek family of foundations, other corporate foundations, etc. for mutual learning
  • Assist to negotiate and liaise with internal resource persons, external training providers and vendors on the learning and networking programmes
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of the training programmes, providing recommendations for improvement
  • Maintaining records of employee participation in all training and development programmes
  • Talent Development

  • Work closely with the senior leaders in identifying staff with high potential, manage and plan their career progression
  • Develop and manage the Talent Management and Succession Planning programme
  • Support the senior leadership appointment exercise and succession planning
  • Guide and work with staff to develop their individual career plan and ensure all around growth of employees
  • Offer programmes, counseling, planning and workshops to help staff manage their careers
  • Building and developing individuals and prepare them for higher-level positions or other career opportunities within the Foundation
  • Requirements:

  • Degree holder in training and development, human resources management/ development, organizational development, business administration or a related field
  • At least 10 years of relevant HR experience
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and local labour regulations
  • Self-motivated, results oriented, well organized, with good project management skills
  • Strong problem solving and creative skills with the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
  • Good negotiation, communication and writing skills, as well as, proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint
