Role description:

This role provides HR services to business and to support the delivery of the people plan and interventions to achieve business objectives.

Role accountabilities:

  • Work closely with the HR Shared Services Team to ensure that the business receives efficient and high-quality HR operational services
  • Coach and guide HR Shared Service Team through new/changing policies, processes and systems
  • Advise HR Shared Service Team, Line Managers and employees for all HR operational services including payroll processing, income tax matters, onboarding and offboarding of employees in compliance with Singapore employment laws and other regulations
  • Initiate improvements to HR services, processes, systems and communications to enhance service excellence
  • Assist in HR budgeting and forecast
  • Work closely with Finance Team and HR Shared Service Team on forecast and application of various of government funding or grants on manpower costs
  • Coach, counsel, and guide Line Managers and employees on HR policies
  • Act as a key point of contact and provide support to Line Managers and employees on all people matters
  • Coach, support and build capability in Line Managers to manage the employment relationship effectively
  • Support the development and updates of HR policies and processes
  • Support the HR Manager/HR Business Partner in implementation of the people plan to include initiatives to drive employee engagement and improve retention
  • Support performance management and annual reward review
  • Conduct exit interviews to gather feedback and develop insights to improve employee retention
  • Share knowledge and best practices with the wider HR Team to build capability
  • Other duties as and when assigned
  • Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource/Business Administration
  • At least 8 years of experience in operational Human Resource and payroll services
  • Strong organization skills and strong attention to detail, an ability to multitask and see work through to full implementation
  • Experience of working with a HR Shared Services and Centers of Excellence model is an advantage
  • Capacity to understand how people issues impact the business and how HR can create value for the business
