Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a leading supplier of printing and packaging solutions, turnkey software manufacturing, value chain management services, 3rd party logistics, reverse logistics & distribution to multinational clients worldwide. Due to their expansion, their headquarters at TAI SENG is currently looking for an ASSISTANT HR MANAGER

Work days: 5 days week, Mondays - Fridays 8.30am - 5.45pm

Work terms: Permanent with attractive benefits

Job Responsibilities:

Human Resource Management

  • Manage compensation and benefits function which includes:
  • 1) Process monthly payroll to ensure compliance with all local


    2) Analyze wage and salary reports and data to determine competitive compensation plan

    3) Administer staff benefit program such as travel insurance, health related benefits and leave

  • Manage sourcing, recruitment and selection of candidates to fill vacant positions, both permanent
  • Oversee foreign employment matters and issues
  • Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness and equity within the organization
  • Provide recommendations to Management to resolve employee relations issues
  • Plan and execute staff engagement programs and company events
  • Human Resource Administration

  • Develop, implement, review and update HR policies and procedures
  • Provide monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports on HR matters
  • Attend business/operation meetings and support business units in manpower planning and prepare manpower budget
  • Productivity & Innovation

  • Work with business unit on job redesign, best practices, and to meet manpower needs and assist to rewrite job description
  • Lead and oversee new and existing HR projects
  • Requirements:

  • Degree, preferably in Human Resource/Business or Management with at least 8 years of relevant experience
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and follow-up skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willing to get down to basics and perform transactional tasks when required
