Job Description

Responsible for the overall end-to-end planning, management, and implementation of key HR projects and initiatives, while ensuring consistency with the Universitys overarching strategies and goals.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with key stakeholders, such as HR Centres of Excellence (COE), HR Business Partners, IT and cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of key project milestones on time and within budgeted resources, while complying with relevant organization policies.
  • Devise and manage a regular project reporting cadence for the HR teams and relevant business leaders.
  • Present and communicate key people data to HR colleagues and other stakeholders in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Track and monitor progress and escalate business risks where appropriate.
  • Collaborative work with other Departments/Schools/Centres of the University to identify pan-University dependencies and report back to key stakeholders.
  • Requirements:

  • Possess a degree or post-graduate diploma in HR, business, or related disciplines, Masters degree a plus

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive Human Resources experience, ideally in more than one functional area
  • Past participant of a HR rotational programme is advantageous
  • Demonstrated success in managing organization-wide HR projects and initiatives
  • Broad knowledge of full-spectrum HR
  • High change-agility, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Team-player and collaborator, able to relate with stakeholders at all levels in the organization
