As a Team Lead for Joiners & Movers, you will lead a Journey Delivery team focused on recruitment, resourcing and onboarding of ANZs talent across the APEA region. You will enable the team to pursue its mission by guiding the team on what work to do as well as how to go about that work. You will prioritise the teams work with the employee at the heart of decision making. You will nurture, inspire and develop team members to grow and improve the way they work, bringing knowledge of the Tribes domain and deep expertise in the specific employee journey(s) the team is responsible for. You will also play a role in building world class delivery capability and subject matter expertise for the Talent & Culture function more broadly, where appropriate.

What might a day in the life look like
Create and promote the new culture and support personal development

Responsible for the personal development and performance reviews of team members
Coaching and development planning by promoting a culture of growth mindset, continuous improvement and accountability, proactively managing any instances of underperformance when they arise
Act as an ambassador of new ways of working and work in collaboration with Squad coach to identify those practices that will enable a high performing delivery team

Effective delivery of teams priorities

Prioritise and focus on what is most important to respond to employee needs and fulfil employee journeys to drive the employee experience
Utilise employee and stakeholder feedback and through effective coaching of the team members, drive continuous improvement in the teams delivery
Drive operational efficiency to deliver services faster, better and easier for employees and our customers
Allocate work and manage the day-to-day operations through team capacity planning
Identify opportunities to re-engineer processes and encourage continuous improvement within the team
Support team in managing the process challenges as appropriate (escalation management)
Identify and assess risks within the teams product delivery and embed the risk mitigation plan in consultation with the Tribe Lead/Performance Lead

Operating in the ecosystem

Provide high quality and reliable service delivery, effectively managing key stakeholder relationships
Create an environment of Clarity, Safety and Trust; building a feedback driven culture within the team
Operate at a multi-team level and focus on inter-Squad dynamics to ensure the team has all of the information needed to operate effectively
